ATTENTION:  I apologize for the long delay in updating the website and not adding the additional families associated with the Sherlin's and Wilson's. I have returned to work from retirement and my time has been very limited on my research. I do have many updates to add so please be patient with me untl I can get to them. In the meantime, I hope you find the information on the site helpful.

May 17,2008

On Saturday May 17, 2008 the family of William Roy Wilson, descendant of David Willson, Ireland held their annual reunion at the home of daughter Kathy Sherlin.  There were 58 family members present.  Also celebrated on this day was the 80th birthday of Anna Leona Benton Wilson wife of William Roy Wilson.

To the surprise of all, Pioneer and First Family of Tennessee certificates were given to the children of Roy and Leona Wilson. Also given were books compiled with all documents and proof of lineage from Issac Wilson and son Issac Wilson Jr. who were pioneers and first families of Tennessee having settled in the Wautaga region of North Eastern Tennessee before Statehood.
